''Home away from Home''
Casa is a beautiful heritage hotel near downtown Bengaluru. It provides lots of little areas to hang out and large terraces to sit, (We had a guitar). It's nice for a family group, or friends. It's close to everything and easy to get around from. The staff are absolutely lovely and are giving you great tips on where to eat, entertainment, and how to get around. (We become masters of swiggy and uber). We could order great food which was delivered at the hotel.
Breakfast every morning in the veranda, home made jam with love! And chai....o, the chai....what I miss the most.
I could go on forever about how great it was. It's very people based. They are helpful in arranging things you need like transport or food or whatever. Basically, just let them know what you need and they will work on it. 10 out of10, We would stay again without any doubt.
''Love at first sight''
Casa was the exact amount of home that I needed as I was in Bangalore for a month with a small group of American students and instructors from mycollege.
We were so well taken care of and every need we ever had was met with so much effort and genuine care.
The staff is comprised of many incredible persons with wonderful stories, they all have a superb sense of belonging and service.
The garden was beautiful and the breakfast's were perfect every morning. The showers were great and the A/C is like heaven as we came in the mid of Indian summer ! The amenities were great.
Being tucked away from the bustling city while still being so centrally located makes this property so attractive.
But the very best thing about this place is the people and the family who run it and the boundless love and care that they are willing to give any traveler .
They all look after you as their personal friend.
''Adventuring around Bangalore''
Casa was amazing an amazing guest house.
It was a home away from home, and I am so glad that 10 of us stayed there for our month of intership in India.
All of the staff was really helpful, assisting us in anything we wanted to do. Manik, the son of the owners suggested us great spots around the city and helped us organize trips over the Week Ends.
We had a great experience to visit Nandi hills on bicycle.
We visited the dance village, Mysore and its palaces, , Coorg and its coffee estates .
We all definitely looked forward to going back to Casa after a long day. It was clean, safe, fun and everyone was friendly. It's within walking distance to anything you'd need. I've never stayed in any place like Casa! I absolutely loved it.
“Charming, safe,unique and welcoming”
I stayed in the cottage during the month of March for over a week and I feel very privileged and fortunate to have found this gem of a hotel nestled away in the centre of Bangalore.
As a European lady staying alone ,I felt so safe!
I was overwhelmed by how friendly everyone in the premises was from the team employed, the owners and the other guests staying here. The enclosed garden is the perfect place to mingle with a handful of people from across the world, or sit alone reading one of the many books lining their shelves of the library.
The fact that Casa Cottage is a family owned business really adds a charm to the property. The owners are clearly passionate about the hospitality industry and are thoroughly enjoying making every ones time in Bangalore a trip to remember.
Some of the finest food I ate in India was based on their recommendations , many of which I would never have discovered on my own! They also helped me get safe and reliable auto rickshaws (tuk-tuks), informed me of the best areas to purchase authentic Indian clothing, and directed me to the areas where I could see Bangalore from a local persons perspective, and also the tourist side of Bangalore.
I had an empty day during my trip and one of the owners (Benjamine) recommended a day trip to Mysore which she helped me arrange with a private car and excellent driver cum guide. The trip itself I will never forget, it was excellent value, and allowed me to see some of the most beautiful palaces and temples India has to offer.
''Quiet and homely stay at casa Cottage''
My bedroom was excellent value and had everything I needed and more.It was heaven after the Chaos of the city.
The artistic touch and exceptional detail put into the renovation of the building is evident throughout.
My room had all the amenities with AC,internet, television, hot/cold shower etc. and also boasted a beautiful balcony overlooking avocado trees and the garden below.
I could only recommend this property as the best to stay in Bangalore.
Beside the fact that I would never have seen the entire beauty of Bangalore in such depth had I not stayed in Casa Cottage and got all the tips from the owner or friendly staff.
I certainly know where I will be booking into if I return.
